Reviews from the kitchens we work in
Most of the work Del Mar Sub-Zero Appliance Care does in Del Mar comes from someone who has had us out before, or from a neighbor of theirs. That is the only marketing this trade really has.

Cubes were coming out small and hollow and half of them welded together in the bin. He measured the water pressure at the valve before quoting anything, then descaled the plate. Apparently the water here leaves a lot behind. Bin has been full ever since.

We open the house up a few times a year and this time there was water at the toe kick and a slab of ice across the freezer floor. Drain had frozen shut weeks earlier. They got out the next morning and did the drain heater and a gasket together.

Our kitchen is on the top floor with the stairs outside, which every other repair outfit has treated as a problem. The refrigerator was sweating at the trim and icing inside. Sagging hinge under a heavy panel, apparently. He adjusted it, put a new gasket on, and it has been square since.
The three things that keep coming up
The window held. The quote and the invoice matched. The person who arrived could say what had failed and why, in language that meant something. Nobody writes a review about a refrigerator getting cold again — that was the deal — so what gets written about is everything either side of it.
The fourth, less often but more strongly worded, is that nothing was pulled out of the cabinetry. A built-in in a Del Mar kitchen sits between stone and panel work that costs more than the appliance, and the whole design assumes service through the grille rather than a unit dragged across the floor.
The visits where nothing was fitted
A share of these are jobs with no part in them at all — a gasket reseated, a blocked drain cleared, a filter nobody had changed since the kitchen was fitted. Those are charged as a diagnosis, and they end the same way: Del Mar Sub-Zero Appliance Care on (858) 290-7997 if it comes back.
